Daredevil: 10 Marvel Heroes That Must Be Adapted For TV Next

7. X-23

Now that Hugh Jackman has confirmed that Wolverine 3 will be his final film in the role, and with rumors circling that X-Men: Apocalypse could bring an end to Bryan Singer's take on the franchise, it would seem to be the perfect time to reassess how Marvel's exiled mutants might find their place in the MCU Even if Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch's were denied their iconic parentage in Age of Ultron €” long outdated spoiler: their dad's Magneto €” it would be easy enough to bring some of their brethren into the fold. Furthermore, if Jackman is too difficult an act to follow as Logan, Feige and Co. could do a lot worse than scent-driven assassin X-23. Bred to be the ultimate killer, Laura Kinney AKA X-23 has a back-story that includes genetic modification, forced surrogacy, globe-hopping murder-for-hire; in short, everything you need for a Nikita-style thriller with added claws. As a compelling (but often overlooked) female character, she could either stand alone or as part of Xavier's crew. In either case, what a show!
