3. He's The Biggest Badass
The Punisher is arguably the most badass character Marvel has ever created and, if nothing else, the movies have held onto that badass spirit. But really, no previous version can stand up next to this newest one.
Thomas Jane’s Punisher has his moments but how tough can you look when you’re going up against Jon Travolta? Ray Stevenson was maybe the bloodiest Punisher we’ve seen on screen but so much so that it was almost comical. But this Punisher, despite numerous shootouts, fist fights and one-liners, became a bonafide badass of legendary status with one epic prison brawl.
Daredevil has put forth some truly amazing fight scenes so far, but this one could be up there as the most badass moment in the entire series. That praise is not to be taken lightly.
Punisher takes on a corridor of prisoners in a close-quarters, brutal fisticuffs filled with broken bones, slit-throats and face-stabs. In the end, Punisher lies on top of dozens of bodies with bloody image of a skull formed on his chest.
A badass is born!
