After a mostly dark trailer, it actually manages to end on a light note, as Elektra remarks about the fact that Matt has been working out. It's a nice moment of levity, one that helps add to their relationship, but also provides some relief from a heavy trailer. It may just be these one-off moments, but there's a couple of them here, which points to a couple of different things. Firstly that the show might have more humour this year anyway - again, looking at Jessica Jones, that had a lot of dark humour, and it could be something they'll explore here. The other is that the funniest lines of the trailer come from Elektra - this one and the "hungry?" quip - which position her as a rather rounded and interesting character: she's funny, she's sexy, and she's also capable of kicking a lot of ass. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
