3. Beaten Down

Yes, after a trailer that spends most of its time teasing a showdown between Daredevil and the Punisher, it actually delivers on it. And damn, it was worth it. It may not be long, but it's super exciting and, well, punishing. For Daredevil, at least. He gets completely beaten down and broken by Frank Castle, in what appears to be a very one-sided fight. It makes sense that they'd set things up this way, with Castle being the dominant one, especially as he's willing to go further, and Murdock needing to overcome him. This scene also calls back to one from the comics, and ties into that chain we see Daredevil wielding earlier. We've seen a promo image that has Murdock tied up in chains by Castle, on a rooftop, and that might be the very bit this fight scene is a prelude to, which would mean that just after this, Punisher has someone else in his sights.

Even if it's not recreating the comics scene, just how great is it seeing Punisher laying the smackdown on Daredevil here? And Castle's words: "You know you're only one bad day away from being me?" Chilling. And maybe a sign of what Daredevil needs to do in order to beat him.
