24. Work's Not Finished
Matt Murdock might have been through hell last year, but he's still holding on to his faith, as we see here in this shot of him at church, talking to Father Lantom, his priest and confidante. As usual with their relationship, Matt is looking for advice from Lantom here, asking him: "Father, why do I still feel guilty?" This means that despite ridding Hell's Kitchen of Kingpin, the weight of the world that Matt bears still hasn't lifted, Lantom has a pretty simple explanation for that: "It means your work is not yet finished." That's handy, because if it were than there wouldn't be much need for a Season 2, but it's still interesting to see how important his faith clearly still is to the hero, and that he still has to be the city's protector even with Fisk behind bars.
