3. The Man Without Fear

At the tail-end of the season finale, Matt attends the funeral of Father Lantom (Peter McRobbie) and provides a quick, moving eulogy for the man.

After saying the word "fear" like a dozen times, he finally says that Lantom allowed him to "see the possibilities of being a man without fear."

It might sound like perfectly heightened dialogue for a superhero TV show, but this is clearly a reference to Daredevil's stature in the comics as "The Man Without Fear."

Considering how often the show has referred to him as "The Devil of Hell's Kitchen", it's great to see his other prominent nickname finally given its due, in a profoundly affecting scene no less.
