Daredevil Season 3: 20 Easter Eggs & References Explained

1. Lord Dark Wind

Daredevil Lord Dark Wind
Netflix & Marvel Comics

And finally, our hook for a potential season four sees Dex having his busted spine repaired by surgeons, one of whom is referred to as "Dr. Oyama" (Glenn Kubota) and mentions fixing Dex's spine with "Cogmium steel."

It's pretty safe to assume that this Dr. Oyama is supposed to be Kenji Oyama from the comics, better known as Lord Dark Wind. He invented the famous adamantium bonding process which created Wolverine, and in the comics Oyama also ended up fusing it to Bullseye to repair his injuries.

Obviously adamantium isn't in play here, with the Marvel-created metal Cogmium serving as a stand-in. It remains to be seen whether or not we'll ever actually get to see a metal-spined Bullseye in the Netflix MCU, but it's a pretty sturdy set-up (if you ignore that horrid final shot).

What did you think of Daredevil's third season? Got anymore Easter eggs to add? Shout it out in the comments!
