10. Men Of Steel And Dark Knights?
I've seen Men of Steel die and Dark Knights fall. A quote first heard in the trailer, and this is the episode it's from, it's certainly an attention grabbing one. It hardly needs explaining, of course, about it referring to Superman and Batman. There have been winks and nods over the years on Arrow and The Flash, but this is the most outright example of The CW universe referencing the existence of DC's two biggest heroes. What does it mean? Probably very little, and the chance is it won't be picked up on again, existing merely as a fun Easter egg. But then again, Superman exists in the Supergirl world, which is part of this one, so maybe - and it's a huge maybe - the duo could appear in some form, in some timeline, on Legends of Tomorrow?
