DC's Legends Of Tomorrow: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After Pilot Part 1

7. Is It Going To Have Typical Romantic Subplots?

Oliver has had romantic entanglements with Laurel, Sara, and Felicity. Barry was in love with Iris, and is (or was) dating Patty Spivot. He was also briefly linked with Felicity, whom Ray Palmer dated. Jefferson Jackson is part of Firestorm because Ronnie Raymond died, and he was Caitlin Snow's husband. She's now involved with Jay Garrick. Hawkgirl may traditionally be in love with Hawkman, but she was seeing Cisco before getting her wings. Basically, on both Arrow and The Flash, the love stories come as standard. They're not the main part of the show, but nevertheless an important one for both character and plot development. With Legends being an ensemble though, and a team who'll be confined a lot to a spaceship, will they go down that route? They already are a bit with Hawkman and Hawkgirl, so it'll be interesting to see what happens with that, and whether it or any other romances become a part of the show. If it feels natural and there's chemistry then it makes sense, but if it's forced and there's a complete lack of chemistry - much like with Hawkcouple - then hopefully they'll veer away from it.
