DC's Legends Of Tomorrow: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After Pilot Part 1
3. Will Vandal Savage Become A Credible Threat?
So, the big villain of this series is Vandal Savage, the time travelling immortal. He's incredibly powerful and dangerous, hence why Rip Hunter needs a team of heroes to take him down. There are just a couple of problems with that at the moment. As part of their crossover/setup episodes, Arrow and The Flash already introduced us to Savage. They showcased just how powerful he was. And then they defeated him. Ok, so apparently it has to be Hawkgirl or Hawkman who strikes the fatal blow, hence how Malcolm Merlyn was able to bring him back - and when is that gonna be dealt with?! - but it still showed that he can be defeated. Meanwhile, the performance of Casper Crump so far, although pretty brief, doesn't carry the presence the character really needs, especially if you compare it to the likes of Neal McDonough or Tom Cavanagh. Hopefuly that will change, and he will truly be established as an all-powerful, world destroying villain.

A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
