7. Not Based In A City

Ever since the cast of characters for Legends of Tomorrow was announced, fans have been wondering where exactly this team of heroes would be tasked with defending. Ray Palmer and Sara Lance hail from Starling City. Martin Stein, Captain Cold, and Heat Wave all call Central City home. With references and visits to Coast City adding up on both The Flash and Arrow as well as an Easter egg mention of Opal City during a mini-crossover, many viewers have assumed that one of these two towns would serve as the backdrop for Legends of Tomorrow.

As it turns out, neither Coast City nor Opal City will be accumulating a handful of vigilantes by winter of 2016. Even if Legends of Tomorrow does happen to have a home base of sorts ala STAR Labs or the Arrow Cave, the focus of the series will not exactly be on where they are in the DC universe. 

The focus will be on when.
