DC's Legends Of Tomorrow: Ranking The Characters Worst To Best

6. Rip Hunter

The trenchcoat-wielding Time Master deserves credit for bringing the team together, but he sure didn't make it easy on them - or the audience - for much of their journey. While his desire to defeat Savage, rewrite history, and save his wife and child were admirable and relatable, his tunnel vision perspective was often frustrating as a result, creating more problems for him and the team, like pushing Mick Rory down the path to becoming Chronos.

It took late into the season for the character to start finally coming around, seeing his team more as people than as tools for his own goals, and his ultimate willingness to sacrifice his own life was well-earned, with Arthur Darvill selling the complicated character every step of the way. With Savage now defeated, the Time Masters out of the picture, and closure having been found over the deaths of his wife and son, hopefully season two can take the newly level-headed Hunter and crack him open to reveal the wealth of character potential within.
