DC's Legends of Tomorrow is a bonkers bonanza of bloody baffling brilliance that thrives on its constant ability to literally make its audience say 'WTF' more times in one episode than just about any other show on the air.

It's gotten so self-aware in recent years that it just doesn't care anymore, so it approaches every storyline with reckless abandon because why the hell not?!

Like the rest of the Arrowverse shows (Arrow aside because it ended earlier this year), the show had been forced into an unexpected hiatus because of everything going on in the world right now, andit finally made its return to The CW earlier this week.

However, unlike the others, the hiatus was just for rescheduling purposes as the season has already been completed, so to inspire viewers with some much-needed escapism, the show's social media accounts released a brand new trailer, teasing what we can expect in the back half of the season. And, yeah you guessed it, it's bloody bananas.

With the Legends gaining access to the much-teased Loom of Fate, you might have noticed that their lives end up looking a little, well, familiar... With that in mind, let's take a look at all of the Easter Eggs and references in a trailer that is just too weird for words.

11. Star Trek

The trailer opens with a hilarious in-show trailer for a fictional show called 'Star Trip'.

Sara Lance channels her best William Shatner with a voiceover about the aforementioned show in which she and girlfriend Ava Sharpe break down the adventures of the U.S.S. Faterider and the crew's mission to 'seek out rebellious life forms'.

A positively brilliant nod to the original Star Trek series, Sara and Ava are dressed like Captain Kirk and Spock in the ultimate fanfiction nobody ever thought of. And to make it even better, Zari, Nate, Behrad, Astra and even John bloody Constantine are the Klingons we never knew we needed.

Legends never stops embracing its ridiculous side, but this was a whole new level of weirdly wonderful right here.
