13. George Washington King - The Skinner - Season 3
Do you not remember The Skinner? I'm not surprised. He was a pretty useless antagonist, who had absolutely no ties to Dexter at all and was someone Dex ignored through most of the show's third season. He has also never been mentioned in the show again after his death in the season 3 finale. He gets his name because of his MO of removing the skin from his victims, either post-mortem or as a method of torture. He starts this as a way to find a man named Freebo, who owes him money for heroin. Freebo is killed by Dexter, but the Skinner doesn't know this and begins torturing people that may know of Freebo's whereabouts. He's eventually hired by Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado to go after Dexter. Dexter kills Miguel, frames the Skinner for the murder, and then is abducted by him (on his wedding day, no less). The Skinner takes him to a tobacco warehouse in order to skin and torture him, but Dexter escapes and snaps his neck. Though The Skinner is a unique serial killer, he remains pretty low on this list due to the lack of impact he's had on the rest of the show and his pretty lame motives.
Memorable Moment: He captures Dexter. Easier said than done!
