The Doctor is unconscious, having just regenerated due to absorbing the energy of the Time Vortex. Rose takes him to her flat, and begins to look after him. Rose's mother takes over, whilst Rose and Mickey go Christmas shopping - when all of a sudden, a Christmas band start to attack. The Doctor wakes up when a plastic Christmas tree begins to attack Rose, but he quickly falls unconscious again. Earth is defenceless as the merciless Sycorax hold one-third of the population to ransom (due to a form of blood-related control). Will The Doctor wake up in time to challenge the invaders?
