Doctor Who: Revived Series 14 Stupidest Idiot Plots... So Far
11. "I Don't Want To Go"?
Regeneration seems to have really depressed the Tenth Doctor, as he described it as something that was akin to death and that it was like a new man was taking his place. When his destiny was assured, he goes screaming and shouting, throwing things around the room. In his final moments, all he could say was I dont want to go. It was all sad and stuff, Doctor, but one question, though What did you mean, I dont want to go.? You already regenerated more than a dozen times in your lifetime. Where did your thousands of years of maturity go? Through all your regenerations you were always in peace that you would become a new man, always assuring your companions that it was not the end. So why were you pretending that it was the end? What made this incarnation so special -except for the fan base, apparently? Its like being nervous on your first sexual encounter when you already did it 9 to 10 times already with many different companions. Grow up, have some balls, and do it already. It was kind of petty when Wilfred was about to die and you were screaming about how unfair it was that you should sacrifice your own life to save his, even though you were not really about to die and he really was. It was a no-brainer, really. Then you showed up to every one of your companions to say/not say your farewells? You didnt do this before when you were regenerating in the past. You can still see them again with a different face. Just ask Sarah Jane Smith, who saw you multiple times with different faces. Again, you were not dying. You didnt need to be an emo about it, you drama queen. It was sad, but it was just just weird.
Once upon a time, Jon ended up in a huge dark room with a giant screen... and he never left.
