The Doctor's speech concludes with: "So if I asked, really, really nicely, would you be my new best friends?"
It's a great showcase for what Whittaker's Doctor will be like, because there's something so incredibly earnest about the delivery, suggesting a version of the character who is not only very alien but also quite childlike, in a similar vein to Matt Smith's. She also refers to them as friends, which hints at a different dynamic to the usual 'companions', while this shot (again, note the 50s setting) gives us a good look at the Doctor's new outfit.
