After what might've been the Doctor forging the Sonic Screwdriver, here we actually get to see it in action (and at least it isn't a pair of sunglasses). This doesn't give us our best look at the design, but it is a noticable move away from the blues and greens of previous Doctors, with a stronger, harsher yellow colour.
