Doctor Who Series 9 New Trailer: 12 Things We Learned

Same old, same old...

Doctor Who is now very much approaching the final countdown to series 9, with a steady stream of images and news coming out as it gears up for its September 19 start date. We now know all of the basic stuff, such as the when, some of the what, and of course Who. It has now released a new trailer to get everyone even more excited, as if it were at all needed. This follows the big first-look at the series that was originally shown at Comic-Con, featuring the mystery of Maisie Williams at the end and a whole lot of action before then. The new trailer is shorter, clocking in at exactly one minute in length, but in that time manages to pack in plenty of exhilarating footage, without giving too much away. There were monsters new and old, another look at Williams' unknown character, a bit more of Missy, and plenty of the Doctor and Clara. It does what a trailer is supposed to do, namely give us a few clues and teasing looks at what to expect, and generally causing a lot of excitement for the show's return. After giving it a watch or two (or twelve), here's a rundown of just what we learnt from the new trailer (which you can watch below). https://youtu.be/0csVdLbDMO4
