1. Levi Roots
Levi Roots is one of the biggest success stories of Dragons' Den. He pitched his Reggae Reggae barbecue sauce on the show in the first episode of the fourth series and secured a £50,000 investment from Peter Jones and Richard Farleigh and supermarket giant Sainsbury's later announced they would be stocking the sauce in 600 of their stores. "Recruiting from within", as it were, would be tearing a leaf out of Simon Cowell's book - he did the same thing when he recruited Popstars: The Rivals winner Cheryl Cole as an X Factor judge and it worked because contestants could emphasise with her since she has "been there and done that". Levi Roots knows the system and would be a friendly face in the Den. Everyone loves him, too (how can you not, the man sang the "Reggae Reggae Sauce" song
during his pitch and later released a music video starring Peter Jones, one of the investors). He oozes charm and charisma and would lighten up a fairly dull and stuffy panel of Dragons.
