El Camino: 5 Things We Need To See In Breaking Bad Spin-off

3. Flashbacks To Breaking Bad

El Camino Jesse Pinkman

Let's get one thing straight when it comes to El Camino: Most people are only going to tune in if they have seen the full Breaking Bad series and are looking for more of the same or even more closure to the story. It's impossible to see why there would be many new viewers tuning in to a film which would make little sense to them.

That's why nods to the original show are a must for El Camino if it is going to truly be a success and entice the audience much like its predecessor did.

There's already hints that we could see this in the trailer - the mysterious balding figure in one scene could well be Mike - and there's scope for more too.

Skinny Pete has already been seen in the trailer, so could we get some flashbacks as Jesse explains just what has gone down to his long-time friend?

There's a fine line between overdoing it and not including enough when it comes to this sort of thing, so let's just hope Gilligan can get it spot on.

Football, WWE, NBA, Pokemon, Star Wars, Breaking Bad. Father to two humans and one dog. At my most stressed when getting beat on NBA2K and blaming 'laggy internet' for all losses.
