9. The Resistance (Web-Series 1)
Set between Seasons 2 and 3, The Resistance shows the struggles of Galen Tyrol and Saul Tigh as they attempt to destabilise the Cylon dominion of New Caprica. While the majority of the human population lives in fear, several are tempted to join the New Caprica Police, organised by the Cylons to act as human-on-human enforcement.
Although short and brutal, the web-series shows the lengths that Tyrol and Tigh are willing to go to and the price that has to be paid by everyone around them, Duck, Jammer, Cally and Nora. This is a human story, with men placed up against difficult circumstances and bitter ramifications for them.
The ten episodes mostly deal with Duck and Jammer attempting not to get as involved as they are with the brewing conflict between human and Cylon on the conflict, with dire consequences for both of them when they attempt to make right what they see as wrong.
