Every Love, Death & Robots Episode Ranked

14. Swarm

The Very Pulse of the Machine
Netflix

The most important theme of Love, Death & Robots is about humans and their many flaws, which always seem to lead to catastrophe.

Such is the case with Swarm, a disquieting episode in which a pair of humans unwisely attempt to exploit an alien race for the sake of humanity, with predictably dire consequences.

Brilliantly directed by series creator Tim Miller, the episode is briskly paced and eye-opening, shedding light on just how destructive humans can be in the face of things so much bigger than themselves. As far as its message goes, Swarm is an episode that gets right to the heart of what Love, Death & Robots is all about.
