Every Love, Death & Robots Episode Ranked

12. Helping Hand

The Very Pulse of the Machine
Netflix

Love, Death & Robots' answer to Gravity, Helping Hand follows an astronaut who is sent floating into space and forced to do the unthinkable in order to survive.

Horrifically tense and typically gorgeous to look at, the episode perfectly mixes the show's dark humour and desire to explore the complexities, flaws, and desperation of human nature, and it does so with such confidence it's not even derailed by its cheesy final line.

Making the most of its straightforward drama, Helping Hand is a reminder that the series doesn't always have to go big to hit a homerun.
