Every Marvel Comic Book TV Show Ranked From Worst To Best

11. Spider-Man (Toei)

A bit of a weird one, this, in that while it bears the name Spider-Man, and does indeed feature the web-slinger in his traditional outfit, it has almost nothing else in common with the rest of the source material.

A co-production between Toei Company and Marvel Entertainment, it replaced Peter Parker with Takuya Yamashiro, a 22-year-old motorcycle racer, who fought as Spider-Man against the Iron Cross Army in a bid to avenge his father's death.

As well as some gadgets that are more befitting of the Spidey we're used to, the series also saw our hero pilot Leopardon, a giant robot transformed for the Marveller, which was the ship Garia came to Earth in. Garia, of course, being the alien who gave Takuya his powers.

It meshed together to create a pretty odd show, admittedly one that could be looked at as cheesy fun, and the effects and stunts weren't actually that bad. Still, it ain't really Spider-Man either (although it did become canon in 2015).
