Every MCU Disney+ Post-Credits Scene Ranked From Worst To Best

17. Save The City - Hawkeye

Moon Knight Oscar Isaac Jake Lockley

Part of Hawkeye’s premise was that Clint Barton was in a race against time to get home to his wife and children before Christmas morning. He was in New York fighting against the Tracksuit Mafia with Kate Bishop, with new obstacles constantly getting in his way.

The reason he was in the Big Apple in the first place was something of a holiday with his kids, with one of the big attractions being to see Rogers: The Musical. This detailed the Battle of New York in classic, larger-than-life Broadway style.

When Clint visited this attraction, what the scene was actually used for was to put him through a certain amount of PTSD. Not only reliving the fight of his life, but seeing Nat portrayed again, and even reading "Thanos was right" written on the sink in the bathroom.

At the end of the series, the finale’s post-credits scene showed the song, Save the City, in full. It was a catchy number, and clearly a great amount of effort and talent went into making the piece, but it’s fair to say that fans expected more from a post-credits scene.

This kind of low-impact scene is fine if it’s balanced out with a bigger scene at the same time, but there was nothing else. No hint at Wilson Fisk’s fate. Nothing.
