Every Time The Simpons REALLY Killed Characters

One of the most beloved side-characters in the show's history, the hip-thrusting, beer-loving party animal Duffman is arguably one of the most quotable characters around.

Originally portrayed by actor Barry Huffman, this mascot was due to appear at any Duff sponsored event. In charge of getting the crowd hyped-up and absolutely trollied on beer, Barry was a hero to some and a symptom of a nationwide addiction to others.

Nevertheless, Duffman lit up any scene that he was featured in and could always be depended on to scream his iconic one-liners.

It was later revealed in the episode 'Jaws Wired Shut' that Barry had succumbed to liver failure as years of partying it up as a beer brand mascot had taken their toll. Lenny confronts the new Duffman over this issue, only to be told that "Duffman can never die! Only the actors who play him".

Barry Huffman may be dead, but the character of Duffman is very much alive and kicking as each time a Duffman dies - usually, via alcohol poisoning or liver failure - another actor simply dons the spandex and keeps the party going.
