Before we get to The Defenders, we must first meet Danny Rand, the fourth member of the street level superteam.

After Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage, Iron Fist is the final piece of the puzzle. It'll focus on Danny Rand (played by Game of Thrones' Finn Jones), a martial arts expert with the ability to call upon the power of the Iron Fist. He returns home to New York after being missing for 15 years and has to deal with an emerging new threat.

It's unclear how well Jones will work in the role (he hasn't been given much to do on Thrones), but the Marvel/Netflix track record speaks for itself.
