Emission Impossible in season 3 represents Family Guy, and Stewie, at their very best. The plot: Lois and Peter consider having more children. Stewie, threatened, wants nothing more than to prevent the deed from being done, and will go to any length to stop the conception of a younger sibling, fearing he'll be usurped. As a result, he pulls an InnerSpace and shrinks down in size, entering Peter's body via a tiny ship, and encountering his would-be younger brother, Bertram, with whom he goes to war. Yet instead of defeating Bertram in the end, the two team up, as Stewie realises the advantages of having a younger brother with capabilities similar to his own. However, after returning to life outside Peter's body, it's discovered that the Griffins have opted out of having another child, and that Bertram may be lost (however, the show leaves his fate open-ended, and as already witnessed, he does return to the series). Regardless, the duel between the two marks the best Stewie episode in the show's history, as Stewie in this instance is driven, ruthless, and frankly, hilarious.
