An obvious change to allow the Cleveland Show spin-off to happen, Cleveland leaving the show just made us all wonder... why? Why Cleveland? Why give the least popular of Peter's friends their own spin-off? Now, maybe the idea was that "we haven't seen a lot of him, so there's lots of room to develop the character" - but the end result was that Cleveland himself just wasn't that interesting. His newly adopted family - not that interesting either. Rallo was to be The Cleveland Show's version of Stewie, but just didn't work as well. Donna and Roberta failed to stand out at all. Tim the Bear? Apparently every Seth MacFarlane show needs a talking animal, be it a dog, a fish, or a bear. The best thing The Cleveland Show did was utilize Jason Sudeikis for a couple of characters, but aside from that, the best thing to come of it was its cancellation. Cleveland himself works better on Family Guy anyway.
