27. The Man With Two Brians

Original Air Date: November 9th, 2008 Peter and his pals decide they want to host their own version of Jackass, pranking each other and performing dangerous stunts for no real apparent reason at all. One stunt leaves Brian injured, and causes Peter to begin thinking about life after his dog, who isn't getting any younger and doesn't exactly keep himself in the greatest of shape. Deciding it's time to start the transition to a new best friend for the family, the Griffins get a new dog, naming him New Brian. New Brian begins to win almost everyone over right away with his motivational speaker-like personality and his ability to sit and listen to everyone's problems. Stewie seems to be the only person who doesn't gravitate towards New Brian, annoyed by his constant cheerfulness. When New Brian shows his true colors by making a comment about Stewie's teddy bear, Rupert, Stewie rids the family of their new acquisition in absolutely hilarious fashion without saying a single word. It wouldn't be the last time the Griffins got themselves a new dog, but at least this time didn't p**s off half the show's viewership like their most recent incident did.
