22. Leggo My Meg-O

Family Guy 22Season: 10 Episode: 20 Original Air Date: May 6th, 2012 In a parody of the Liam Neeson classic film, Taken, Meg travels to Paris, where she plans to spend a semester of her schooling. Upon her arrival, she is kidnapped and forced into the sex trade, where she goes up for sale as a sex slave. Brian and Stewie head to Paris in an attempt to get Meg back, and they have to infiltrate the sex trade to do so, which means Stewie has another opportunity on the show to be a cross-dresser. Not only does he dress up as a woman, but he becomes a popular pick. The whole "Meg's life is terrible and nothing ever goes right for her" gag continues here, and it continues in a strong way. Of course, she was kidnapped and turned into a sex slave, which is unfortunate for her, but when it is revealed that her situation isn't exactly as bad as she once feared, she starts to see the positives in being sold off as a slave, only for that not to go her way, either. It's the perfect example of the way the Family Guy writers treat her character. It's kinda sad, but when it provides that kind of entertainment for viewers, who can really complain?
