10. Don't Start Off Slowly

It's pretty much standard for most shows, but with Fear The Walking Dead, there's a lot of pressure to make sure the pilot is has a high tempo. TWD has smashed records for viewing figures with millions of dedicated fans around the world and that's something Fear must take advantage of. Not many shows have the luxury of starting with such a wealth of fans behind it, and its Fear's sole job in Season 1 to ensure that as many as possible are hooked onto this new show. Of course, the numbers won't be near the same level as TWD, but the overwhelming majority of viewers will have already seen the parent show. It's imperative that they dive straight into the story to hold as many as possible.
