3. Who Will Develop As The Main Character?

So far there are three standout characters in Travis, Maddie and Nick, with Alicia, Tobias, Travis' ex-wife and son all more than likely to be brought more heavily into the fold. But is there a Rick Grimes among them? Because we all know that the series will enter the apocalypse and characters will have to adapt, it's interesting to think a year or two in the future when the world is overrun. What role will these current characters take up? Travis has shown initiative but he seems 'nice' rather than 'authoritative', while Nick is going to struggle massively when the drug supply dries up. However, Maddie could have potential to be the strongest-willed member of the group. It's far too early to call, but who will develop as the show's central figure, or is this going to be a shared role?
