Tobias is the sage-like figure so far in the show, and while you may think the school geek wouldn't last too long in an apocalyptic nightmare, he's stunningly the most prepared for what's about to come. The King of Foreshadowing has spelled out doom for the city's infrastructure, and when it falls, he's got the monopoly on tinned food. He's well ahead of the game. There's already an air of 'cult hero' about Tobias, and while he'll probably succumb to a horrifying end at some point, there's plenty of mileage in his character. He's unlike any from TWD, and could go a long way if the creators of the show have a shred of mercy in their souls.
