11. Explore Nick's Frame Of Mind
Nick was a standout character in the first season, offering up a delicate balance between a messy, disruptive, misguided teen and an innocent, resourceful, diamond-in-the-rough. He could be the star of the show once again.
But of course, while he is technically one of the 'heroes' fans will be expected to support, he's still in deep trouble when it comes to his state of mind. Finding the necessary drugs at sea probably won't be an easy task to achieve.
Exploring Nick's journey from having everything he needed to going 'cold turkey' would be interesting, and would offer a different viewpoint to any other character. He shouldn't be 'cured' instantly.
