Fear The Walking Dead Season 2: 12 Things It Must Do

4. Slow It Down

One criticism of Fear The Walking Dead's first season was that it was too slow, but I'd happily argue that it was actually too quick. Yes, there could be more action at times, but in the grand scheme of things, it would be wise to slow things down.

The fall of L.A. escalated from one or two stray walkers, to an entire city-wide lockdown and arena full of the undead in just six episodes. Fear needs to be careful it doesn't catch up with The Walking Dead. It must be slowed down and the fall of civilisation should be drawn out over a longer time period to set it apart.

There should still be some functioning aspects of society, there should still be those people who're living in the new world as they would in the old one, and nobody should be an expert at surviving an apocalypse just yet. The action could be more plentiful, but the overarching timeline should slow down.
