An incredible coup for the show, fan of the sitcom Bill Gates appeared to commemorate the 200th episode of the series. The Season 9 episode marks Gates as one of few guest stars to play themselves along with Dr. Phil. In the episode, he appears for an interview on Frasier’s radio show.
Of course, Frasier rides his ego over the appearance of the world’s richest man with a question "When did you first become a fan of my show?". In the end, Frasier’s callers ask Mr. Gates technical questions and he ends up taking over Frasier’s own show. Classic.
Later in the series, Bill Gates is instead said to have made an acquaintance with Niles following his involvement in a high-profile murder case involving his ex-wife.
