It probably seems incredibly silly to include two pet birds on this list rather than fellow humans, but how can you deny these little guys a space? In all seriousness, the introduction of these "characters" ended up being way more than a simple attempt to drive up the cute factor, so they deserve a spot here.
So, these two bird babies were first shown in season 3's "The One With A Chick And A Duck" - go figure - where Joey buys the chick as a gift for Chandler. They soon added to this pile after Chandler went to take the chick back but returned with a fully-grown Duck.
These pets were more than just a joke, as they were a major part of Joey and Chandler's friendship. They gave the duo something to share and take care of, leading to a sense of co-dependency that helped grow their relationship.
