Friends: 16 Easter Eggs You Totally Missed

7. Bruce Willis' Appearance

Friends Rachel Green
NBC

Friends had a number of fantastic guest stars over the years, with an ability to attract some real A-list talent such as Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. One of the most memorable, and one who actually had a recurring role rather than a one-and-done cameo, was Bruce Willis. He played Paul, father of Elizabeth and love-interest of Rachel; he was just a love-machine long before Girls Aloud came around.

Around the time of his appearance, he was co-starring with Matthew Perry in The Whole Nine Yards. Perry bet him that their movie would open at the top of the box-office, and if it did then Willis would have to appear in an episode of Friends for free. It did, so Willis did, and then stuck around for more, with his subsequent fees going to charity.

Of course, there is one weird thing about this. Ross, Chandler, and Joey are shown to be big fans of Die Hard - DIE HARD! - yet they don't recognise that Paul looks just like the main character? Ok guys...
