Friends Or Seinfeld: Who Said It - Monica Geller Or Elaine Benes?

Can you remember which character came up with a jam plan to get over their man?

NBC

It’s easy to compare Elaine Benes from Seinfeld and Monica Geller from Friends, at least from the early seasons of both respective shows anyway. Both were strong, independent women who loved to date and have a laugh with their friends whilst working their way up their career paths in 90s New York.

Neither were particularly successful at keeping a man for long in their lives (until Monica got hitched with Chandler Bing of course in the latter seasons of Friends) and both were perhaps two of the funniest female characters in that decade of television comedy.

To compare the two it’s also true to say that the pair looked rather alike. With their fiery attitudes and big smiles and big laughs, actresses Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and Courtney Cox could have been sisters.

Courtney Cox did of course appear in Seinfeld as a one episode love interest to Jerry and her screen presence was memorable. But it's what she said in Friends and not Seinfeld that is important here.

Can you tell both of their characters apart? Remember you can check out how you did with the answers at the very end.
