Just like Danny, this character showed that you don't have to hit it off right away to find something good with someone. However, unlike Danny, there was no creepy sister relationship in sight, so Gavin easily landed onto the better side of that coin.

This character came along to replace Rachel during her maternity leave at Ralph Lauren. At first, he seemed arrogant and standoffish, which caused an instant rift between them. However, things began to change after Rachel got to know him and realised that he had a very kind side.

Eventually, romantic sparks began flying between them, but they decided not to pursue a relationship, as Rachel and Ross' past made things far too complicated for them.

Although their relationship never took off, it's easy to see how, in another reality, they might have had something great. He was incredibly respectful and kind to her but also challenged her in a way that kept their dynamic spicy. Plus, his understanding of her situation with Ross showed that he was a true gentleman.
