Friends: Ranking Every Thanksgiving Episode From Worst To Best

7. The One Where Ross Got High (Season 7)

Friends The One Where Ross Got High
NBC

Jack and Judy Geller come round for Thanksgiving, with Monica telling Chandler that they've never really liked him (because that was always going to go well). Ross reveals the reason, that they think Chandler got high when it was actually him, and finally tells his parents the truth. The episode also sees Joey and Ross trying to sneak off to Janine's party, but let's be honest, you remember this one for Rachel's English Shepherd's Pie Trifle.

It's getting to the part of the list where it becomes increasingly difficult to separate episodes, as from this point they're all really good, and this one has a lot going for it. The trifle stuff is excellent, the escalation between Ross and Monica telling things to their parents similarly so, and the strange Jaques Cousteau subplot somehow really works as well, all topped off when Judy steps up to solve all their problems. If there's a downside, it's probably the Janine party subplot.
