Phillip J. Fry's life changed forever when he was cryogenically frozen and ended up nearly a thousand years in the future. It was here that he meets Turanga Leela, a tall, curvaceous woman with one distinct feature - one large eye that takes up most of her head.
Leela was a counselor who was given the task of assigning Fry a job in the future. What job did she give him? Yes, that's right, a delivery boy, the exact same job he had in the 20th century. After disappearing for a while he eventually surrenders when he realises that he is destined to be a delivery boy for the rest of his life.
For fourteen years, we followed Fry and Leela as their friendship developed into a beautiful relationship and the pair eventually married in season 7.
