The series followed the life of Philip J. Fry, a former pizza delivery boy who accidentally fell into a cryogenic tank and found himself a thousand years into the future.
Fry soon discovered that many technological advances had been made, and he even befriends a foul-mouthed, cigar-smoking robot, Bender. In time, he goes on to meet many other species and embraces his new life in the future.
Futurama gained a cult following over its time on air, and with a new season set to arrive next year, fans are excited to go back to the future with original voice actors Billy West, Katey Sagal, David Herman, and many others set to return.
