Futurama had a rather difficult run when it first aired. Starting in 1999, the futuristic comedy ran for 4 seasons before getting cancelled by Fox. It then got revived in 2008 with 4 feature-length stories that would each be split into 4 equal parts and aired as episodes. The show then continued normally for another few years before getting cancelled once again in 2013. Recently, though, the show got an unexpected revival at Hulu and will begin production immediately on a new season.

When news of this revival got out, there were obviously some questions as to whether the whole cast would be returning. Unfortunately it was initially reported that John DiMaggio, the actor behind Bender, would not be returning, but after a lot of controversy and talks between agents and studios, DiMaggio is now confirmed to be returning to the show along with the rest of the cast after this long hiatus.
