Game Of Thrones: 10 Best Moments Of Poetic Justice
9. Renly's Death
Renly Baratheon's demise seems like an eternity ago. It's easy to forget how powerful he should be right now if it hadn't been for his colder, older brother Stannis and Melisandre's largely unexplained shadow assassin. Without interference from Dragonstone's cheery pair, Renly would've marched his Baratheon/Tyrell army straight into the Red Keep and mounted Joffrey's head on a pike next to his mother Cersei's. However, it wasn't to be. Renly had previously promised to show Catelyn Stark what happened to rebels... Without seeing the truth that HE was a rebel... Renly died soon after, but imagine what might have been.
