It wouldn't surprise me if the prophecy came true in Season 6, and if it does, prepare for some seriously, seriously, seriously murky politics. I actually think if Tommen dies, the succession storyline could become the entire backbone of a season. He has no heir. His siblings are gone and he has no children. Stannis is gone, and even little Shireen. There's actually nobody left to take the throne, although technically... Daenerys Targaryen instantly becomes the strongest claimant. This could have enormous consequences in King's Landing, with the Tyrells and Martells warring it out with the remaining Lannisters for the Iron Throne, even though none of them really have a great claim, barring the fact that Margaery is still technically the Queen.
