Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Shocking Moments From Season 5

If you're one of the many people who have actually read the books, you knew this moment was coming. But if you didn't then it was particularly gut wrenching watching Jon get betrayed by his 'brothers' of the Night's Watch. 

As Jon looked at the tree with the word 'traitor' written across it due to him helping the wildlings, he knew that it was the end. And what a way to go. Stabbed continuously in the stomach, with his fellow men of the wall whispering "for the watch" in his ear as they pierced his skin with knives. How cowardly.

And to top it all off, they let young Olly deliver the final, fatal blow. So not only did the little rat kill Snow's lover Ygritte last season, he's now killed him too. For a show with a lot of characters to hate, Olly has become a bit of an evil little troll who is on most fan's "I hope he dies soon" list.

Although it would be nice to see Jon rise from the dead, stab his brothers and whisper "for the watch..." into their ears, going by the show's track record then Jon ain't coming back.
