1. Will There Be An Even Bigger Big Battle At Winterfell?
So, Episode 9, yeah? They're always brilliant episodes in seasons of Thrones. In order, Episode 9 from each season has seen the execution of Eddard Stark, the Battle of Blackwater Bay, the Red Wedding and the wildling army's attack on the Wall. Right now, the greatest movement is Stannis marching his men towards Winterfell for a hopefully epic battle, but is it about to get bigger? Lord Baelish, of course, is plotting. He fed Cersei the idea of marching Lannisters to finish off the victor, but with their troops miles away, Baelish now has permission to march with the Knights of the Vale to meet Stannis and/or Roose. A three-sided battle would be mega, and the fallout could be cataclysmic with Stannis, Shireen and Selyse, Davos, Melisandre, Roose, Ramsay, Sansa, Myranda, Theon, Brienne, Pod, Baelish, and a trio of colossal armies all piled into one small area. Any number of people could die, and the whole landscape of the North could be shifted. Baelish wants to be Warden of the North, but those were lies seeping from his mouth about wanting Sansa's head on a pike, the terms of Cersei's permission. He wants Sansa for his own, surely? Baelish's end game is very slowly coming to the fore.
